About Lighthouse Bible Church

The mission of Lighthouse Bible Church is to make disciples and serve one another by God's grace, with God's Word, for God's glory. 

Our vision is to be a community of Christ’s disciples who are in covenant with Christ and one another, who come together to gather each Sunday morning as a church family and to group in smaller discipleship settings throughout the week, and who confess to all the gospel of Christ. 

The Opportunity

Lighthouse Bible Church equips men called into pastoral ministry with a three-year pastoral assistant position while they are going to seminary. This is a part-time, three-year pastoral assistant residency that disciples and trains men to be pastors as they meet with the Elders for discipleship, as they shepherd in a ministry position, as they disciple believers, and as they function as faithful church members. (Our church is about 25 minutes from The Master’s Seminary.)

The Qualifications

      Has a clear testimony of faith in Jesus Christ, a servant’s heart, and a growing personal relationship with Him.

      Desires to be in pastoral ministry and is growing in the character qualities of 1 Timothy 3:1-7.

      Possesses the skill to listen and communicate; demonstrates a heart of humility; and administrates his life and ministry well.
